Mike Schmidt is a technology and operations leader with extensive experience driving enterprise-wide transformations across professional services, telecommunications, retail, and aerospace industries. Previously, he served as Chief Information Officer for Deloitte's Audit & Assurance business, where he oversaw technology strategy, operations, and organizational enablement. In this role, he directed the development and deployment of Audit & Assurance solutions aligned with global objectives.

During his time at Deloitte, Mike also contributed to key leadership teams and governance boards, including the Global Audit & Assurance Executive and the US Technology Governance Board, among others.

Beyond corporate leadership, Mike is committed to mentoring aspiring technology executives and supporting high school STEM students in the Tampa Bay area. As a US Army veteran and former Counterintelligence Officer, he actively supports veterans' affinity groups in their transition to civilian careers. He was also the founding chair of FloridaCIO and now serves as Chairman Emeritus of its Advisory Board.

Recognized globally for his leadership, Mike was named the 2022 Global CIO of the Year by InspireCIO and was a finalist for the 2023 Super Global CIO of the Year.
